Who We Help

Our 2014 Proceeds & Contributions

Last year, thanks to contributors and race participants, enough money was raised to allow ALL 96 5th graders to attend 4-H camp ($35 per student) and receive a t-shirt! We also used money raised to attend an M.S.U. basketball game, go to the movies (we watched "Million Dollar Arm", it was good!), and dine at Pizza Hut (they were definitely buffet killers)!

This year, the race's success will again help fund the 5th grade students at Owingsville Elementary. These students will attend an overnight, two-day field trip to 4-H Camp located at the North Central 4-H Camping Center in Carlisle, Kentucky.

Here, the 5th grade students' lessons will focus on Social Studies, specifically early American History. Students will visit the historic log cabin, create totem polls, preserve food, make paper, experience reenactments and much more.

This is an amazing opportunity for these children, most of which have the time of their lives and experience memories they'll never forget. Register or donate today!
